German style apple cake (德式苹果蛋糕)
Summer season is coming, the season for light and fresh fruit cakes. With just 20 minutes of preparation and 30 minutes of baking, you can create a delicious and easy to bake German style apple cake. It’s an old recipe that was handed down to me by my grand mother. Have fun and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 4 eggs (鸡蛋)
- 180g sugar (白糖)
- 300g flour (面粉)
- 3 teaspoon baking soda (发面苏打)
- 100ml milk (牛奶)
- 125g butter (黄油)
- 2 big apples (苹果)
Preparation
Beat eggs with sugar until creamy. Put milk and butter in a pan and let it cook. Slowly fill the hot liquid into the egg/sugar mix. Add flour with a sieve and add baking soda. Stir until you have a liquid and even dough.
Grease a baking pan and fill in the dough until about 2cm in height. Peel apples and slice them into pieces, about 1cm thick. Press them into the dough and fill up the baking pan.
Bake the cake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees, decorate with icing sugar and serve with a drop of cream.

Mmmmm - lecker und abends gab es noch ein Stueck Apfelkuchen, ganz nach Plan……. (O-Ton Harry Wynnforth, Deutschlands dickste Showmaster in seinem legendaeren Slim-Fast Werbespot)

In der Tat ein super einfaches Rezept, schnell gemacht und schmeckt hervorragend. Wenn man die Apfelstücke vorher kurz in Butter und Zucker in der Pfanne anbrät dann ein Traum! Probier´s mal!
