Chinese Spaghetti (中式炸酱面)

It is said that Marco Polo imported the spaghetti noodles from China. And if you try this Chinese specialty you will experience, that not only Italians are able to cook mighty tasty spaghetti!

Chinese Spaghetti


Ingredients

  • 350 gram of minced pork meat (猪肉糜)
  • One pack of dry tofu (about 150 gram) (干豆腐)
  • 3 spoons of soybean paste (豆瓣酱)
  • 3 spoons sweet noodle sauce (Tian Mian Jiang) (甜面酱)
  • 500 ml water (水)
  • Chinese noodles (面)
  • Cucumber, carrott (黄瓜,红萝卜)

Preparation

Cut tofu into small cubes, fry in hot olive oil together with minced meat. Add soy bean paste and noodle sauce, fry for another 2 minutes. Now add water until your mix is covered and have the sauce cook for another 15 minutes at small heat.
Cook noodles for 4-5 minutes. Grind carrotts and cucumber. Prepare noodles into bowls, add sauce. Add cucumber and carrotts to your hearts content.
