Cold Soba Noodles with sesame-soy sauce (麻酱凉面)
Cold soba noodles is a lightweight dish for summer days. Originating from Taiwan and Japan, you can prepare this delicious dinner in less than 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Soba noodles (吸面)
- Carrots (红萝卜)
- Cucumber (小黄瓜)
- Sesame paste (芝麻酱)
- Peanut butter (花生黄油)
- Black vinegar (台湾乌醋)
- Soy Sauce (酱油)
- Liquid Sugar (糖)
Preparation
Cook the noodles until al-dente, have them cool down in cold water.
Use about 4 small tablespoons of sesame paste, stir with hot water, 3 tsp of peanut butter, liquid sugar, soy sauce and black vinegar. The sauce should not be too liquid.
Arrange cold noodles on plate, grind carrots and cucumber and serve everything together.
